The Speed Loc Gearing System incorporates a dual-step pinion gear system on star drag reels for positive engagement at high speeds, making these reels a great choice for hard-charging fish like wahoo, dorado, sailfish and makos. This system also allows for instant gear engagement and hook sets from free spool. The ergonomic forged aluminum handle has unique oversized handle knob for comfort and easy handling when fighting a fish.
