The Grand Slam 400 Outrigger Top Mount is packed with key features and benefits. Its hard top plate has increased surface area, providing a secure attachment point, while the thicker 3/4″ plate minimizes flex and enhances stability. The larger top tube offers a longer bearing surface, ensuring improved overall stability. The extended upper casting prevents tube buckling, adding durability and strength. Compatible with TACO Marine’s 1-1/2″ diameter aluminum and carbon fiber poles, this mount is ideal for high-performance boats equipped with 3, 4, or 5 engines.

Compared to the Grand Slam 280 series, the Grand Slam 400 features double the amount of top assembly hardware, along with a stainless lever grip for increased strength. It introduces a convenient mushroom outrigger twist and lock pin for easy one-hand operation. The mount utilizes an eight-bolt pattern attachment, providing additional arm and pole support, while the thicker 1/2″ backing plate ensures secure and reliable installation. For existing Taco Marine customers, the Grand Slam 400 utilizes the same bolt and hole pattern as the current Grand Slam series, simplifying installation.
